TheNE6053isahighlyintegratedWPCcompliantwirelesspowerreceiverICforportableapplications.ThisdevicereceivesanACpower**fromacompatiblewirelesstransmitterandconvertsitintoaregulated5Voutput,whichcanbeusedtochargebatteriesformobiledevices.Powerdeliveryislimitedto5WinaccordancewiththeQispecification.Thepowerpathisimplementedwithlowresistivedevicestoensurelowpowerdissipation.

TheNE6053integratesahigh-efficiencysynchronousfull-bridgerectifier,whichoutputisregulatedbyaLDObeforebeingsentout.ItalsoimplementscontrolcircuitsusedtomodulatetheloadtotransmitWPC-compliantmessagestothetransmitterfortheconnectionestablishmentandpowercontrolduringthepowertransferstate.

TheNE8051isahighly-integratedsingle-chipWPC-compliantwirelesspowertransmitterICforpowertransmitterdesignA6/A11/A28.Thedeviceoperateswiththeinputvoltage5Vor12V,andsuppliesonesetofexternalfullbridgeorone/threesetsofexternalhalf-bridgeinvertersforDC/ACconversion.Itcontrolsthetransferredpowerbymodulatingtheswitchingfrequency,duty-cycleandphasespecifiedbytheWPCspecificationforA6/A11/A28.Itcontainsmixed-**circuitsrequiredtodemodulateanddecodeWPC-compliantmessagepacketssentbythemobiledevicetoadjustthetransferredpower.

TheNE8051isanintelligentdevicethatperiodicallypingstheareasurroundingthebasestationtodetectamobiledeviceforchargingwhileminimizingidlepower.Oncethemobiledeviceisdetectedandauthenticated,theNE8051continuouslymonitorsallcommunicationsfromthemobiledevice,andadjuststhetransmittedpoweraccordinglybyvaryingtheswitchingfrequency,dutycycleorphaseoftheinverter.

Thedeviceincludesover-temperature/voltage/currentprotectionandaForeignObjectDetection(FOD)methodtoprotectthebasestationandmobiledevicefromoverheatinginthepresenceofametallicforeignobject.ItmanagesfaultconditionsassociatedwithpowertransferandcontrolsstatusLEDstoindicateoperatingmodes.NE8051shallbeabletotransmitpowerupto5Wandshallbecompliantwithversion1.2standard.. TheNE8051isavailableinanareasaving40-PIN,5mmx5mmQFN.
